Mission Statement:

The mission of our Rights of the Child USA campaign is to promote the ratification by the United States of the 1989 United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child. We are building a national, state, and localnetwork of individuals and organizations to join in appealing to the President, his administration, and members of Congress.... both House and Senate... to take immediate action to ratify this treaty.  We will encourage our government to lead the world in protecting the human rights of these millions of innocent and voiceless members of our society instead of being the only country the world that has refused to do so.
